Basic Life Support Certification
The Campaign Pay it Forward offers this Basic Life Support Instructor course for teaching CPR AED and First Aid in emergency situations and common injuries. This course requires instructor candidates to be certified and successfully complete their respective course of instruction prior to starting the instructor courses. Instructors will be able to teach Basic Life Support and First Aid CPR AED in addition to Basic Life Support. The Campaign Pay it Forward offers these instructor course types that teach valuable lifesaving skills through national center programs, such as the American Heart Association and American Red Cross. Course material adheres to respective instructor material and guidelines from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association and American Aquatics Safety Training. Instructor requirements must be met, prior to commencing the program. When you successfully complete the instructor class you will be certified to teach and certify students in the same discipline.
There are numerous steps in assisting an injured party and even approaching a person or the scene of an emergency. This website/ webpage should not be used in lieu of taking our course or used in part or parcel towards aiding a victim. At no time should a non-professional person or instructor put themselves in harms way. The BLS Course / First Aid CPR AED instructor course will prepare you for teaching the proper response with the appropriate emergency medical skills.
Licensed Training Provider
General classes in CPR AED courses can make the difference in saving the life of another human and yourself. One in need of CPR must receive treatment within 3 minutes in order to prevent the potential for severe damage. As an instructor your skills will be conveyed to many students. This program is not just an online instructor certification to satisfy ones continuing education credits, but students can most definitely save a life and have the confidence to assist when trouble occurs. Instructors learn in a classroom environment, blended learning and have access to back office support to print a completion card, digital certificates and a printed certificate for new instructors or for those being re-certified.
Instructor candidates can sign up for numerous instructor course offerings at our training center(s), training support center or at a local site near you. This instructor level class is equal to that of the CPR AED First Aid instructor and is the highest level instructor course for this offering and those that teach these skills are part of an elite group. The instructor candidate application allows an AHA instructor candidate or Red Cross instructors or equivalent training organizations to receive instructor essentials, practice teaching and receive continuing education. Candidates receive in classroom and blended learning instructor knowledge in addition to materials advanced cardiac life support instructor course instructor essentials.
The Certification allows for convenient digital download of your online portion and complete certifications, exam results and instructors notes. The Campaign Pay it Forward offers numerous BLS Instructor courses that can be found by date and on the Find a Class webpage.
In addition to an Instructor Certification as a BLS Instructor from a training center, instructors will have training guides and instructor materials online. Additional instructor course material is available for Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). This will be explained further and in detail during your training course, blended learning course and complete education. Additional American Heart Association guidelines are available online, in print and on digital formats. An American Red Cross account can be set up for back office availability to material and resources. No unauthorized or non-valid use of Red Cross material or Red Cross online instructor access is permitted. Only express use of Red Cross link is permitted.
Becoming an Instructor
After you complete our training programs and receive your certificate you may wish to further your provider education with Campaign Pay it Forward by taking additional prerequisites, courses and classes and increase your skills towards completing additional advanced emphasis certification training. As an instructor your ability to save a life is extended through the students that you teach. You may contact us directly to participate and find local provider programs in the discipline of your choosing near you. Click on the Contact Us page on our website menu to review and find a BLS Course or BLS Instructors course for healthcare providers near you. After the completion of the blended learning and prerequisites, we do not require additional monitoring of BLS Skills or instructor skills for candidates. However, instructor recertification for BLS is required every two years.
Please note that our BLS course and program and certification is recognized and valid throughout the world. Being a certified instructor with our training course is for both regular people and for those where your job requires a CPR AED training certification. Most emergency medical response professionals require a re-certification every two years while others require completion of a re-certification in ACLS or BLS every one year. Instructor trainers may re-certify every one or two years. All certification program(s) must include classroom skill evaluations with no assist and the completion of the written exam for each discipline. As an AHA instructor or Red Cross instructor trainers at a training center all skills taught must adhere to BLS skills standards. An AHA instructor must complete the entire instructor training course and must be taught both online and in-person portions. Provider emphasis must be focused on each discipline within the course. As an AHA instructor of BLS a provider will receive the confidence to teach site BLS note(s) and perform direct contact BLS related emergency tasks in accordance to the proper BLS procedures.

Training includes online and in-person course material for BLS and all Instructor course material. Instructor courses are our most advanced offerings and are of the highest caliber and of great benefit.
